The mansion, the object of the intervention, dating back to the first half of the 800s, is located in the Bari province, in Apulia. The request from the client was to refurbish and restore the whole building to create new luxury apartments to rent. The new planimetric subdivision has let the introduction of two new commercial spaces on the ground floor and three apartments on the upper floors with sea-view terraces. An attempt was therefore made to respect and preserve the original architectural image in the renovation, especially in the external elevations and in the internal architecture. For the interior design project, a minimalist and contemporary language was introduced, while respecting the historical context of the building. For each piece of furniture, it is planned to make it bespoke or to research and choose unique pieces.
