OIV | Opus IV
This project is characterized by the research of a balance between the existing spaces to reply to the client’s need of operating without changing the structural elements of the house. The only space that has been refurbished, keeping the location of the original walls, is the bathroom, re-designed through the use of a new floor, finishes and furniture. The vanity unit, the mirror above and the shower box have been designed ad hoc.
In the rest of the house, the material choice, textiles and furniture have been the main focus point, such as the realization of bespoke furniture, like the travertine table in the dining area, the Patagonia marble table in the break corner of the kitchen and its worktop.
The specific research of the balance, dictated by warm nuances, lights and care to the proportions to donate a warm and elegant atmosphere to the house.
